Monterey Park Christian School is a state-licensed preschool and kindergarten owned by and a ministry of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. MPCS is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM, September through August. Admission is open to boys and girls whose parents desire a Christian School experience. Children at least 2 years, nine months old through Kindergarten are welcome. MPCS is unable to accept children not fully potty trained. For safety reasons, the language development of all children must include the ability to communicate basic English words. Monterey Park Christian School maintains a ratio of 12 children to one qualified teacher. There is usually a lower ratio of 10 children to one qualified teacher in the youngest preschool class.
